Violin Lucci Giuseppe, Bagnacavallo, 1934 - Label readable inside - . Top in excellent condition with no grains or repairs, top quality spruce pine with the grains of the spruce together and rich evenly spaced very dense flamed maple. At the bottom there is a small stabilized crack in the heel area. Ebony pegs, fingerboard, tailpiece and chin rest. Golden red, orange varnish. Certificate pending.

LUCCI, Giuseppe Born in 1910 in Bagnacavallo, died in 1991 in Rome, Italy. A pupil of Pietro Borghi, Giuseppe Lucci worked in Ravenna before settling in Rome in 1953 at the age of 43. His favorite model is Stradivari, but Guarneri and Guadagnini are also frequent inspirations. The wood is excellent and the workmanship is very neat, with a predominantly orange-red-gold varnish. After 1967, the labels "Roma 19..." -after moving to Rome- and the fire stamping on the pin. He obtained 15 gold medals in competitions in Rome, Liège, Cremona and elsewhere.
