Here is a violin born from my hands after countless hours of dedication. It's an instrument fresh from the workshop, yet its resonance evokes the wisdom of the great masters. More than just a simple violin, it's a declaration of intent, a true companion for the musician who seeks limitless self-expression. This violin is modeled after Guarneri 'Del Gesù'.
The Val di Fiemme spruce top is the heart of its sound. Its incredibly fine, tight, and straight grains attest to the exceptional quality of the wood, promising projection and sonic clarity that will surprise you. For the back and sides, I selected Carpathian maple with a fine, uniform, and intensely dark flame, which is not only a visual delight but also contributes to the instrument's harmonic richness and power.
I opted for a deep brown oil varnish that highlights the natural beauty of each grain. But what truly makes it unique is the treatment of the back. I applied a meticulous technique to simulate natural and authentic wear, as if time had left its mark. This gives it a historic patina, the air of a classic instrument that has been cherished and played for decades. To top it all off, a layer of Baltic amber varnish imparts a warm luster and durable protection, sealing its charm and ensuring its legacy.
This violin is the perfect fusion of modern craftsmanship and the spirit of ancient instruments. Its impeccable construction guarantees an agile response and exceptional comfort, allowing you to explore every nuance of your music. It's an invitation to connect with your art in a profound way, to feel the resonance of great lutherie traditions in your own hands.
